When oil is discovered in 1920s Oklahoma under Osage Nation land, the Osage people are murdered one by one - until the FBI steps in to unravel the mystery.
Principal photography was lensed by Rodrigo Prieto, ASC, AMC. When it was time for some reshoots, Prieto was shooting Barbie, so my long-time friend and collaborator Nico Aguilar, AMC was called in. Bringing in the principal B-1st AC John Holmes for A-Camera and myself for B-Camera, our main task was to shoot both the opening and closing scenes for the movie, along with some beautiful inserts that would play throughout the film. Utilizing both Arricam 35mm and Sony Venice cameras, we captured some amazing images, including an enormous blood moon over the midnight hills of Oklahoma and a live drum performance of the Osage Nation.
